The Knitted Geek Yarns are hand dyed yarns with a twist of geek. Each yarn weight is broken down into versions and sub versions to separate them from their sibling yarns. All of our yarns are dyed with acid free dyes using a mix of dip dying and crock-pot dying in the comfort of my kitchen.
Each yarn version is broken down first by yarn weight then by yarn fiber. The breakdown is as follows:
- Version 1.0 - Lace Weight Yarn
- Version 2.0 - Fingering Weight Yarn
- Version 3.0 - Sock Weight Yarn
- Version 4.0 - Worsted Weight Yarn
- Version 5.0 - Bulky Weight Yarn
- .1 - 100% Merino Wool
- .2 - 75% Superwash Wool/25% Nylon
- .3 100% Superwash Wool
Our Silkie Boobies yarns are here to support breast cancer. They are hand dyed using a silk and wool blend of yarn. They are dyed in pink and white to show your support. 40% of money from each skein of Silkie Boobies yarn is donated to Susan G. Koman for the Cure.
